Meet Casey Meyer!

Hello Dawn Friends,
My name is Casey Meyer. My first memory of Dawn was when I was around 14 years old. My step mother worked in a drug store called Hook's. One day she brought home three Dawns and three fashions. All the same so there would be no fighting. My two sisters and I were in total amazement at that tiny little doll and her fashion. I have no clue where they ended up. I never thought about her till I met my wonderful husband Gary. He is a toy collector. When we met he and I would go to yard sales. I told him about Dawn and he was on the hunt.
Thirteen years later I have over eight hundred dolls. Most of which he found. I have met vendors who are now life-long friends. Gary is the one who actually found out about the Dawn conventions. My first was in St. Charles Illinois. I was nervous and a little scared I wouldn't fit in. I was very lovingly welcomed and shown so much kindness. I can't imagine my life without these people. I have always tried to show the same to new collectors and attendees. This year will be my 9th convention and I'm proud to be representing as a co-hostess.This year will be amazing and I'm looking forward to being a part of this year's festivities. You're all going to be amazed and overwhelmed with the kindness of these people as well as all the goodies you will take home. With or without goodies you will never want to miss a convention once you've been.  Get ready!!!
