Hi Everyone!

It is so exciting to be one of the hostesses planning for the Dia de la Dawn Convention this year. This will be my 6th convention I’m attending and my first as co-hostess. I began collecting Dawn dolls at the age of 7 with my mom buying me my first Dawn doll from Grants Store in New York. Then came her friends, fashions, case, and accessories! You could find me setting up my Dawns in my 1/12 scale dollhouse with lots of early American furniture styles. How I loved to dress up my Dawns and play with them! Fifty years later I’m still at it with not only my original Dawns and dollhouse, but with many new additions! I hope to hear your story of how you started your Dawn collection as a child!
